A Support Worker is required to work with adults suffering with learning difficulties within adult care schemes across Derbyshire.

The posts are temporary, varying in duration and require a flexible approach to shift work.

Main duties -
•Providing general care for adults with learning difficulties, ensuring optimum well being at all times
•Provide personal and intimate care
•Assistance with feeding
•Working as part of a team
•Adhering to care plans
•Supporting emotional needs
•Liaising with Social Work teams and families where appropriate
•Domestic duties

Key Skills -
•Experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities
•Be willing to undergo an enhanced Capita CRB Disclosure
•Effective Communication skills
•Pro active, willing attitude
