Job Description

Experienced .Net Applications Developer required to join a forward thinking, progressive Microsoft Gold partner based in the Northamptonshire area. Responsibilities include full solution life cycle; contribution to solution design, software development and solution implementation primarily within the Microsoft System Server platform.

You will be an enthusiastic and self motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years software development experience, of which 2 years must be on the .Net platform, using Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET in a web based environment.

It would be an advantage (though not a requirement) to have experience in one or more of the following:

• Microsoft SharePoint (MOSS 2007) - Have experience of developing web parts and customisations
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM - Understanding of the API and web service capabilities to extend the core functionality
• Project Server 2007
• SQL Reporting Services/Analysis Services - Ability to build reports, dashboards through utilisation of these tools.

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have a proven ability to develop functional and technical specifications, be client focused and able to deliver to agreed timescales.

Must be MCTS or MCPD qualified and have proficiency in relevant programming and control languages, analytical skills and thorough knowledge of software design patterns and generally accepted development best practices.

Technical:

• Visual Studio and Visual Studio.NET development tools
• Minimum 2 years experience using C# / VB.NET programming language in a commercial environment
• Strong Microsoft SQL experience
• Minimum 2 years experience of web integration using SOAP, XML and Web Services
• Ability to create Functional and Technical specification documentation for presentation to clients
• Familiar with software design patterns and generally accepted development best practices
• Microsoft accreditation in systems development would be an advantage.
