Account Manager IT Project Management Services
Pitsford, Northamptonshire
£35,000 - £40,000 DOE Plus Incentives, Free Parking, Healthcare, Pension, Childcare Vouchers, 23 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays (rising with service)
As a leading edge project management company, our client works with companies in the transport marketplace to deliver innovative Smartcard schemes. An opportunity has now arisen for an Account Manager to join their team.
This role would suit an experienced Account Manager with a talent for both winning new business and growing existing accounts, to develop their career and earning potential.
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of accounts. Your role will focus on ensuring customer retention whilst up-selling additional products.
Your duties will include:
- acting as the primary contact for clients, helping to meet requirements and improvements
- client reporting and feedback
- introducing improvements to the overall account
- maintaining contact with clients, advising of current work progress and future initiatives
- monitoring and managing key supplier contracts and SLAs
To be considered for this position, you must have experience in a similar Account Management role, including a track record of winning new business and developing existing accounts.
In addition to excellent communication and presentation skills, as an Account Manager you should be a strong networker with good report writing skills and proficiency using the MS Office suite.
Experience with, or knowledge of project management and service management practices would be beneficial to your application, as would a track record in an IT project management environment.
