Job Description

Their largest range of services are located at their main site in Northampton, but they also have regional sites in Essex and Birmingham and Mansfield.
St Andrew\'s currently employ over 3,000 staff who are passionate about what they do evidenced by their Investors In People accreditation. They are working hard to ensure that all employees have the opportunity to develop and further their careers, and are therefore looking to strengthen the Training Team with the appointment of a Training and Development Officer. In this role you will be responsible for the implementation, delivery and evaluation of training and development activity for their Central Directorates including HR, Finance, Legal, Estates Marketing and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver, maintain, and evaluate training and development activity for all staff within the Central Directorates.
- Ensure that a robust training needs identification process is in place and fully utilised.
- Ensure that all training and development activity meets relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Regularly monitor, review and evaluate the content and quality of all Directorate-delivered training activity.
- Co-ordinate and manage the delivery of local induction for all new Directorate staff and where appropriate support the Corporate Induction as required by the Central Training Team.
- Ensure all training KPI targets are met and monitor any shortfall with agreed action plans.
- Promote and develop training which assists individuals to meet organisational and personal objectives.
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has a track record of design, delivery and evaluation of a range of training programmes. A confident and natural communicator and facilitator, you will be committed to helping our people achieve their future goals as well as your own. A relevant qualification in learning and development is required and an awareness of the care industry would be desirable.
