Capita Social Care & Housing are seeking experienced Project Workers on behalf of one of our clients based in Lincoln who provide training and accommodation prospects for young people at risk. Their aim is to help vulnerable young people aged 16-25 gain independent living skills and promote social inclusion.

The Project Worker role will incorporate facilitating the smooth running of all properties in terms of health and safety issues, maintaining acceptable standards of cleanliness, property deterioration and tenancy sustainment.

KEY TASKS:
*To maintain properties to a good standard as per company obligations
*Conducting full monthly health and safety property checks
*Conducting daily visual health and safety property checks
*Monitoring hygiene and cleanliness of properties
*Monitoring deterioration and damage to properties organise and inspect routine repairs and plan long-term improvements to properties.
*To provide support to organisation Support Workers by assisting in the delivery of support to service users in accordance with individual support packages, planning and delivering activities and drop-in sessions, interviewing and inducting prospective clients.
*To encourage tenancy sustainment by liaising with Support Workers regarding any support issue in relation to maintaining acceptable standards in properties and participating in house meetings.
*To communicate effectively with the team to ensure the smooth running of the properties by providing a report to the team at team meetings, providing feedback to the Project Manager and producing reports as determined by the organisation
*To maintain economic viability of properties by monitoring environmental efficiently of the day to day running of properties and monitoring the usage of domestic supplies
*To participate in the shift system to provide cover for the project over 7 days a week and participate in the On-Call procedure
