Job Description

HR Officer - Northamptonshire - £20K - £25K

Our client, part of a national market leading manufacturer, are now looking to appoint an HR Officer into their small on-site HR team.

Supporting a client base of around 600 perm and 100 temp staff in a fast paced manufacturing environment, you will be involved in a busy generalist capacity. You will support on ER issues such a disciplinaries and grievances as well as following up on absence issues. You will also support the recruitment of operational and administrative staff as well as being involved in some aspects of HR Administration.

You will also provide advice and guidance to staff and managers on a range of HR issues from queries about policies and procedures through to maternity/paternity requests.

To be successful in this role you will have a background in generalist HR from manufacturing/FMCG/logistics and be either CPP or part CIPD qualfied.

You will need to be able to work in a very busy and fast paced HR department and be able to influence and persuade managers.
