The client is a leading distribution organisation of paper-based products. They have several sites in the UK and have over 600 employees across the country.

Due to a change in their warehousing and distribution network, our client now needs an interim site manager with automation experience to join their team for a 3-6 month assignment. The role will be based in the Daventry / Rugby area.

The role is to manage the day-to-day operation of an NDC that holds up to 40K pallets of various product in a fully automated warehouse. Our client has recently consolidated three existing operations into this site in the Daventry / Rugby area, along with three different IT systems. Your role will be to oversee and co-ordinate the 50 or so full time employees and their activities, as well as to work with senior management in identifying and correcting areas of poor operational performance.

You will work with the existing site manager in a consultative manner to support and also to challenge the daily performance figures, as well as reviewing the automation within the site so as to ascertain it's suitability for the on-site operation.

Our client requires an interim manager with experience of working in fast and busy environments in mid-large scale warehouses along with experience of working with automation systems.
